BIKINNOV attends the 1st AM2R Technical-Scientific Conference
On December 10, BIKiNNOV took part in the 1st AM2R Technical-Scientific Conference on “The Future of Sustainable Mobility: From Portugal to the World”. The event, which brought together experts and representatives from the mobility sector, was a unique opportunity to discuss the trends, challenges and innovations shaping the future of sustainable mobility in Portugal and around the world.
César Coutinho, BIKiNNOV’s Chief Technology Officer, highlighted the role of the Technology and Innovation Center in promoting soft mobility, sharing BIKiNNOV’s vision of innovation and collaboration in the sector and presenting the CTI’s capabilities. His speech was part of the round table “Collaborative Innovation – Perspectives and Challenges of a Technology and Innovation Center”, moderated by Carlos Alves, where synergies between different stakeholders were explored.
Daniela Herculano, BIKiNNOV’s Innovation Manager, highlighted the evolution of electrification in the two-wheel sector, with an emphasis on e-cargo bikes. She also made an important contribution to the round table “Market perspective on the evolution of electrification in the two-wheel sector”. During her speech, Daniela addressed the revolution that batteries represent in the electric mobility market and the need to integrate cutting-edge technologies to increase efficiency and sustainability in the sector. This contribution reinforced BIKINNOV’s commitment to leading research and development initiatives in this critical area for the future of sustainable mobility.
BIKINNOV presented two posters: the first, entitled “Digital Transformation and Collaborative Economy: An Innovative Platform for the 2-Wheel Sector”, addresses disruptive technological solutions aimed at boosting digitization and the integration of new business models in the mobility sector. The second, “Mapping the Characteristics of Aluminum Alloys”, took second place among the posters presented. Both posters reflect BIKiNNOV’s commitment to leading innovation and sustainability in the sector, offering significant contributions to technological advancement and the promotion of greener and more efficient practices.
This event highlighted BIKiNNOV’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and consolidating its position as a key player in the transition to a greener, more efficient future. With the inauguration of its new facilities scheduled for January 2025, BIKiNNOV continues to work to offer cutting-edge technologies and foster the transition to sustainable mobility.
BIKiNNOV was present as part of AM2R – Mobilizing Agenda for Business Innovation in the Two-Wheeler Sector, within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR) financed by the European Funds of NextGenerationEU, which has Polisport as its lead entity.
