🌟 It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Armando Pereira da Silva, a visionary and outstanding businessman whose name will remain inextricably linked to ABIMOTA and the development of the Portuguese industry.

Born in Águeda, he began his career with a small workshop which, over the decades, became an international benchmark. Founded in 1952, RODI became a leader in the production of metal components and accessories for bicycles, exporting to various markets and consolidating the region as an important industrial hub. In addition to RODI, he helped found other successful companies such as CONFERSIL and INDELAGUE, the latter of which stands out in the technical lighting sector.

Always guided by an innovative spirit and a bold vision, he established himself as a respected and admired figure in the sector, leaving an indelible mark on the business landscape.
