Accreditation
BIKiNNOV- Bike Value Innovation Center has obtained IPAC Accreditation as a Testing Laboratory, in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. This standard establishes the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, recognizing BIKiNNOV’s ability to perform to high standards of quality and technical rigour.
The accreditation, with the code L0860, was granted by the Portuguese Accreditation Institute (IPAC), a national accreditation body and signatory to the international mutual recognition agreements of the EA (European cooperation for Accreditation) MLA (Multilateral Agreement) and ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement). This recognition covers a wide range of technical tests, including toys, childcare products, sports and leisure equipment, bicycles, personal mobility devices and personal protective equipment.
Awarded on May 5, 2024, this accreditation validates the technical competence of BIKINNOV’s mobility laboratory, guaranteeing compliance with international criteria. The accreditation certifies that BIKINNOV operates in accordance with management and quality standards, reinforcing the confidence of its customers and partners in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
