ABIMOTA and BIKiNNOV organize a meeting on “The Future of Bicycles in the European Union”

On January 14, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., BIKINNOV’s facilities in Águeda will host the meeting “The Future of Bicycles in the European Union”, jointly organized by ABIMOTA and BIKINNOV.

The event will be attended by companies, experts and stakeholders from the two-wheel sector, with the aim of discussing the opportunities for Portuguese companies in the European context, reinforcing the strategic role of the national industry in the future of sustainable mobility.

The first part of the event will present an overview of the work carried out by CONEBI (Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry), an organization that has played a crucial role in the decision-making bodies of the European Union in defining policies and strategies for the bicycle sector. The purpose of this meeting is to highlight the opportunities for national companies to participate in European working groups.
Following the meeting, there will be a presentation of the capacities installed at BIKINNOV and the features that will be at the service of companies by the end of 2025. This will allow participants to get to know the resources and innovative solutions available at the center, reinforcing the commitment to the development of the Portuguese two-wheel industry.

The event underlines the importance of strengthening synergies between national companies, promoting collaboration and innovation in order to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities presented by a constantly evolving sector.
