BIKiNNOV joins the “Missão Solo” Manifesto
BIKiNNOV, the Technology and Innovation Center for the Two-Wheeler Sector, has approved joining the Soil Mission Manifesto at its Board meeting, given its alignment with the Center’s sustainable development strategy.
Part of the Horizon Europe programme, the Soil Mission Manifesto aims to mobilize efforts to protect and restore soils, with a special focus on soils affected by previous industrial activities.
Addressing the challenges of post-industrial soils requires an innovative and collaborative approach. Through this initiative, BIKiNNOV expresses its willingness to integrate partnership projects, not only of living laboratories dedicated to soil recovery, but also to lead soft mobility projects that integrate cycle paths and other low environmental impact infrastructures in regions that are transitioning from an industrial past to a greener future.
BIKiNNOV believes that this step is a way of creating networks. Participation in partnerships of this nature is part of the Technology and Innovation Centre’s Core Funding Program, the National Innovation Agency’s (ANI) Interface Mission, Action Line 5 – Promotion and Networking, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Program (PPR) and the NextGeneration EU Fund.
